TV fans, it’s time to celebrate your favorite shows and performers once again. Just a few months after the 2023 Emmys aired in January, the Television Academy’s members revealed their nominees for the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, with Abbott Elementary‘s Sheryl Lee Ralph and Veep‘s Tony Hale revealing this year’s picks for top honors contention at the 2024 Emmys.
While some fan favorites were not eligible for this year’s nominations due to timing, a lot of broadcast, cable, and streaming favorites were in contention.
As expected, The Bear was the most heavily nominated comedy show, but just how much of a lead the FX/Hulu drama got was a shocker: The show got a record-breaking 23 nominations (overtaking the previous record of 22 nominations for 30 Rock) this year. Meanwhile, Shōgun led the pack on the drama side with 25 nominations.
Check out the full list of this year’s Emmy nominations below.
